Anne Marie Archambault, back from Europe, has resumed her role as co-head of genealogy for the Association des Archambault d’Amérique. At the Annual General Meeting held on June 2, 2024, in Pointe-aux-Trembles, she presented a report on her activities.
She reminded us that Richard and André Archambault initiated and greatly contributed to the Archambault d’Amérique genealogy, and continue to do so, covering more than 40,000 descendants of Jacques Archambault. The current objective is to complete this genealogy using new software, Heredis, with the help of Éric Bombardier, a new Board of Directors member, who will assist Anne Marie in this project.
The association is always on the lookout for new members with a passion for genealogy who would like to join the project.
On a personal note, Anne Marie has begun researching Archambault ancestors in France. She will inform the association of the results of her research.
In addition, she mentions that she would like to organize a trip to France for 2026-2027 to visit the ancestral regions.
